Welcome

The Magnolia Tree Project aims to encourage active participation and character development in children in the Durham community. We ascribe to the "whole-person" approach - uniting subjects as diverse as literature, design, leadership, ecology, and ultimately communication in providing a holistic extra-curricular experience.

Based in the Sarah P. Duke Gardens of Duke University, student participants will learn about, design, explore, and ultimately spearhead the writing of a magazine of their own creation, uniting effort and art into a product for which they can be proud.
