Project SKY - A Duke University Student-Driven Non-Profit

It's Summer Time! Want to find out more about our Program? Interested in finding out how to become involved? We Will be Out at the Duke University Student Activities Fair in August. We look forward to seeing you there!

Welcome. Project SKY unites students from all over Duke University, Durham, and greater North Carolina in the cause of education and outreach. We give computers to kids.

That's right. It is really that simple.

But what does it mean for students to give other students access to the tools they need to succeed not just in education, but in life? Well, it means we work tirelessly, fearlessly, and quickly. On a shoestring budget we assemble computers from the parts we have, and get them where they are needed most: in the hands of kids who need access right now.

With strong and dynamic partnerships from within Duke University and the Research Triangle Park, Project SKY is more than just a student-run charity. We are a vibrant, ever-changing collective, always striving to improve. Duke's Office of Community Affairs has chosen to integrate our program into its broader mission, and both Duke Student Government and the Pratt School of Engineering Student Government have shown overwhelming support. From these and other partnerships, we can accept cash and in-kind donations, and give a tax-exemption.

But more importantly, we continue to see our efforts pay dividends, as children all over the city of Durham gain enrichment through greater access to technology. For Project SKY, the journey's just beginning. We'd love to have you on board.
